About us

Romance and Rants is my unapologetically honest space to share stories, opinions, and observations about the beautifully chaotic experience of being a modern woman. It’s where fantasy meets feminism, and where real talk is always on the menu.

This blog is a potion of:

  • Romantasy & Nerd Culture. I didn't actually start reading until my late teens, but I was always a massive fan of fantasy films. I am glad my tastes mature to spicy romantasy books. I have no shame of what I like to read, and I will share with you that confidence.

  • Feminist Commentary
I write about the everyday realities of womanhood. From societal expectations to gender politics. This is something very important to me, having grown up in a very female orientated world. I am surrounded by the most incredible women, but I know that the world is not fair to them.

  • Relationships & Real Talk
Whether it’s dating, friendships, or self-love, I explore the messy, magical, and sometimes maddening parts of human connection. I have always struggled with this myself, but I have found writing my experiences and issues helps a bunch. And I will say it; men suck. Yet I am still attracted to them.

  • Life as a Late-Diagnosed Autistic Woman
I share my journey of self-discovery, masking, and embracing neurodivergence.

  • Women’s Health & Daily Struggles
From hormones to healthcare, burnout to body image, I talk about the stuff we’re often told to keep quiet about. Spoiler: I won’t. This tends to tie in to the autism of my life in my own personal experience, and I will share it all with you.

  • Rants with Heart
Sometimes you just need to vent. Whether it’s bad book endings, unsolicited advice, or the patriarch. I rant, but I do it with love (and memes).

Why I Started This Blog

I created Romance and Rants because I wanted a space that felt like a warm hug and a spicy group chat rolled into one. A place where women could feel seen, heard, and maybe laugh-snort while reading. Life is hard, weird, and wonderful, and I believe in talking about all of it.
